WARRACKNABEAL Fire Brigade celebrated the end of the year with its annual Christmas party recently.
About 80 members and families enjoyed festivities at the Warracknabeal Racecourse.
As per tradition, Santa Claus arrived in style on board a fire truck, before he handed out gifts to the lucky children on the night. For the adults, Warracknabeal musician Craig Somers entertained the crowd.
Ladies auxiliary and social club member Tennille Jonasson said it was a good day for members to enjoy the end of the year and celebrate the festive season.
“It was a good night and the families enjoyed themselves,” Mrs Jonasson said.
Some members got into the spirit of the season by dressing up in Christmas costumes much to the delight of the children attending.
Attendees enjoyed a spit roast dinner with lots of salads and delicious desserts made by the members.
