From learning to teaching

A WARRACKNABEAL women will step up to a teaching role after completing five years of study at Federation University.

Cassandra Lutze has secured a position teaching Art at Mount Ridley College in Cragieburn, Victoria. 

Ms Lutze said she is excited to take on the role, and thanks her friends and family for their support over the years. 

“I attended Federation University and found it was a big change from living in the country,” Ms Lutze said. 

“I spent four years completing a Bachelor of Visual Art/Bachelor of Education, which taught me the skills I needed to teach Art to secondary school students.”

She then went on to complete her Masters. 

“I then went on to complete a year and a half long Masters of Education, focusing on gaining knowledge and skills needed to teach primary school.”

“My journey took five and a half years and I’m proud to announce, I will be teaching Art at Mount Ridley College in Cragieburn (Vic) next year. 

She found herself chasing the dream while growing up in Warracknabeal. 

“I grew up here in Warracknabeal and spent many wonderful years making friends and following my dream to become an Art teacher,” she said.

“Thank you to my friends and family for their continuous support and I would like to tell every student to always strive towards their goals.”
