WARRACK Concrete’s Gary Streeter has been doing his best to service residents throughout the district during the COVID pandemic.
Established almost 50 years ago, Mr Streeter and his staff are recognised across the district for their professional concreting services to farmers and households, albeit changed under the Victorian Government’s health restrictions.
“It has been business as usual but we’ve had to make adjustments under the guidelines,” Mr Streeter said.
“We’ve had to change some of our procedures to reduce contact.”
Warrack Concrete have been busy working farms and silos but Mr Streeter noted that gardening and landscaping supplies had become more sought after as residents were increasingly required to stay home.
“Things have been a bit busier,” he said.
“A lot of people have been doing wicking beds for their gardens over the past couple of weeks.”
Warrack Concrete stock a variety of garden and yard supplies including various mulches, quarry dust, gravel, stones, pebbles and duck manure.
They can deliver to your home or premises with six ready-mix trucks, ranging from five to seven metre bowls, ensuring they meet the needs of every residential or commercial client.
Even with the increased demand from residents attempting to grow their own veggie patches, Mr Streeter said he was happy to supply the drainage and soils required, servicing within a 100km radius of Warracknabeal.
