It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Christmas is only a few weeks away and the Warracknabeal community is getting into the Christmas spirit with decorations being put up around town.

Warracknabeal Action Group's 'Christmas window' sub-committee has been working hard constructing this year's festive windows in the main street.

The group has decorated 120 Scott Street, the Commonwealth Bank, Warrack Home Hardware storage window, Rotary House and the Warrack Hotel.

The Men's Shed lent their helping hand, as they constructed the wooden gift train that's on display at 120 Scott Street.

"They did a wonderful job," Christmas window organiser Jenny Stewart said.

"They put on the wheels and built the train engine."

Ms Stewart encourages businesses to "add some Christmas cheer" to their stores as the festive holiday creeps a little closer.

Warracknabeal Girl Guides have also entered into the Christmas spirit, as they decorated outside of the Girl Guides hall, during their end of year Christmas break up.

"It's great to see young people getting involved," Ms Stewart said.

Christmas movies, games and more were enjoyed by the Girl Guides in their festive clothing and accessories.
