LOOKING after your neighbour has been a underlying message during the coronavirus pandemic and The Fragrant Rose can help you lift a friend’s spirits.
Business owner Sue Russell is taking orders for non-contact delivery.
The colourful addition of a bunch of flowers is an age old tradition of sharing love with people you care about.
“Flowers cheer you up and let you know you’re loved and thought of during these difficult times,” Mrs Russell said.
Mrs Russell said there is a limited supply of fresh flowers at the moment but she is happy to do what she can to brighten someone’s day.
“There is a limited supply of different flowers this year and no imported flowers due to COVID-19, but a good variety of flowers will be available.
“Those that order early will get the best choice of flowers,” she said.
Non-contact delivery is available for those in self isolation and Mrs Russell is happy to deliver to the Warracknabeal township.
Rural Northwest Health Warracknabeal campus are also taking deliveries of flowers to Yarriambiack Lodge and the hospital.
Mrs Russell can create arrangements for all budgets and displays in either a box or a bouquet.
She said although not all flowers are available at the moment, she is happy to cater around requests and can create around colour choices where possible.
“It is best to order ahead as flower supplies are short. It is a bit of pot luck, but if they order ahead of time, they are more likely to get what they want,” she said.
Orders are also best placed ahead of time for Mother’s Day as deliveries are behind due to the restrictions. Call Mrs Russell at The Fragrant Rose Florist on 5398 2150 or 0401 833 615 to share a little love with someone doing it tough.
