WARRACKNABEAL District Band are encouraging musicians to play at the end of their driveways for Anzac Day on April 25.
The campaign Music for Mateship is becoming a movement around Australia to encourage residents to recognise the day which commemorates those who have served or are still serving.
Bandmaster Jason Wright said they have distributed music to members for them to practice the Last Post and The Rouse.
Mr Wright said members have been practicing music at home and they have been encouraged to share videos on their social media page.
“We have also been practicing the Lionel Ritchie and Michael Jackson song– We Are the World so that when we come together again we can play that song,” Mr Wright said.
Mr Wright said that they are trying to keep up morale of their members by keeping connected.
Mr Wright invited residents to join them at the end of their driveways at 6am on April 25 to commemorate Anzac Day.
