Horsham needs a reset and a focus on practical, community-driven solutions.
I will represent Oatlands Ward if elected.
I was born, schooled, and married here. My children were born here, and my parents are buried here.
I am deeply committed to our town.
For the past fifteen years, I've successfully advocated for Northern Horsham, addressing key issues raised by residents:
Lukin Park: Park proposal for quiet relaxation and peacefulness. It is currently under development.

Path and Lighting on Dooen Rd: Enhanced safety and accessibility with new infrastructure.
Disabled Carpark at North School: Secured a parking spot for a mother of a disabled child who struggled for over three years, including with council, to get this crucial support.
My background includes:
Community Volunteer Work such as:
CFA, including Critical Incident Stress;
Bone Marrow Donor Institute,
Royal Victorian Institute of the Blind.
Interests: As broad as Natimuk Field and Game, and Horsham Spinners and weavers.
I've tackled key issues like:
Contaminated Land Plan:
Submission opposing a Council plan to relocate
North Primary School to contaminated land, adjoining the railway.
Parking meters: Co-authored a petition to remove parking meters.
All-Abilities Park Proposal:
With others, developed an initial proposal for an inclusive park, which was enthusiastically received at the latest Horsham North Framework meeting.
What I will bring to the table:
1. Deep Local Commitment: Being local means I understand and genuinely care about this area. My experience with public consultation drives my commitment to positive change.
2. Practical Solutions:
Roads and Infrastructure: Prioritising maintenance and upgrades.
Parking Management: Review current parking meters.
Service Audit: Ensure council services are essential and efficient.
Project Management: Ensure fully scoped and costed projects to avoid overruns.
Grants: Focus on properly planned, needs-based projects.
Leadership: Ability to manage finances, administration, projects and staffing.
I will represent Oatlands Ward, and work for the whole community.
My greatest achievement would be Horsham starting to trust council and heal.
With goodwill on both sides, we can build a stronger, united community.
