The event saw 88 riders from around Victoria participate in the 100km, 75km, 50km and 20km circuits with two father and son teams, a team of riders from Port Fairy and a growing number of E-Bike riders taking part.

There was also a young man who rode the 100km circuit to support a seperate cancer charity along with two riders to completed the same circuit and then travelled back to Melbourne to complete the ‘Round The Bay’ ride the next day.

Many Riders travelled to Horsham and Natimuk for the weekend and this has knock-on benefits for the local tourism economy.

The ACE Ride is based in Natimuk with Mount Arapiles being the feature, as well as the flowering farming crops and the quiet country roads.

Beginning in 2014, the event is considered a ‘boutique’ ride on the recreation Cycling Calendar, sanctioned by AusCycling, and is usually held on the first Saturday in October.
