Archaeologist speaks about local scar trees

EARLIER this month, local archaeologist Abby Cooper was a guest speaker at the Dimboola and District Historical Society's July meeting, detailing her work on Outlet Creek, recording the “about 200” culturally modified or scarred trees there, and how they relate to the history of the indigenous people who have lived there.
