Audrey's not finished yet

At 91, Audrey McFarlane still puts her name on volunteer rosters, attends community meetings, supports local fundraising and gives her time to the town she has served for more than four decades.

Audrey McFarlane has been volunteering in the Hopetoun community for 43 years. She helped start the Hopetoun Opportunity Shop in 1983 with three other women from her church after seeing local families struggle during the drought. Audrey has also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Red Cross, the hospital auxiliary, Vision Australia, the community garden and church committees.
