Be careful this harvest season
Harvest season is well underway, which means there will be an increased amount of heavy vehicles travelling on local roads.

Normally, heavy vehicles contribute to 30 per cent of road traffic, but during harvest season the figure doubles.
To prepare for sharing the roads this harvest season, drivers should know where a truck's blind spots are and avoid them. Be mindful of your stopping distance, how to safely overtake heavy vehicles and do not cut in front of a truck.
