Bobbin off to flying start

Jockey Cian MacRedmond gave Andrew Bobbin victory in the second race of the day at Donald on June 20.

Riding Flying Khan, MacRedmond finished almost two lengths clear of the field.

Bobbin's Grampians Racing had a further two runners at Donald: another in race 2 and one in race 5.

Stawell-based apprentice jockey Chelsea Thompson ran second in the opening race aboard Newcombe, trained by Ann-Jeanette Tindale.

Across the seven-race program, Jack Hill rode two winners and two third placegetters from his six starts.

McKenzie Creek trainer Paul Preusker had horses in five races, peaking with a second placing by Cool Bee Bee in race 3.
