Bollards meeting this weekend
A street meeting will be held this Saturday regarding the bollards installed by Horsham Rural City Council on Natimuk Road a few months ago.
Resident, Ian McCulloch, organised the meeting to discuss two options the council has offered – neither of which he believed was satisfactory.
“We've been given a couple of options from the council, and no one's happy with them, so we're just going to try and get something happening, a bit of publicity, get a petition going, and just see what the general consensus is of the group,” he said.
“We really want to get something like an option 3 from us delivered to the council, which we think is the best option for everyone and present it as this is what we want and get the petition happening with as many signatures as we can.
“If anyone's got any other ideas Saturday morning to get rid of this eyesore, we're all ears.”
The meeting will be at 18 Natimuk Road on Saturday, June 27, at 10am.
