Bombers quell dogged Demons
Noradjuha Quantong remain undefeated after a hard-fought win over Laharum on Saturday in round six of the Horsham District Football Netball League, with final scores 9.9 (63) to 6.3 (39).

Noradjuha held a six-point lead at quarter-time before a strong second quarter gave them a 45-26 lead at half-time.
Laharum fought back to bring it to 47-39 at three-quarter-time before a 16-0 final term secured the win for the Bombers.
The physical contest was Noradjuha Quantong’s toughest game yet, with the win keeping them atop the league ladder, while Laharum are currently fifth.
Dyson Parish and Jayden Besford were best on field for Noradjuha Quantong, while William Miller and Daniel Easson were among the best for the losing side.
Laharum coach Robbie Miller identified untimely errors as being a major factor in the defeat.
“A couple of undisciplined plays and maybe just a few lapses of concentration, even just small moments, were pivotal in momentum swings and they (Noradjuha Quantong) took their opportunities,” Miller said.
The Laharum coach credited the Bombers for their elite play.
“We know that their speed and probably their skill is a huge strength of theirs,” Miller said.
“We like a contested brand of game so we tried to bring that at the stoppages and at the goal face and we tried to limit their space.
“You’ve got to give credit to them,” Miller added.
“Their attack on the ball was great, their intensity and tenacity at the contest was great.”
Miller praised Will Miller for his efforts on the backline.
“He (Miller) was great with his intercept marks and reading the play defensively,” Miller said.
"It was great to also see Brodie Foster debut and get his reward.”
Despite the loss, the Demons are feeling upbeat that they can compete with the top teams.
“It was good to see where we're at, and we know the areas we need to improve on,” Miller said.
“If you have lapses which result in goals against quality opposition, they make you pay, so I think if we just tie up a few little areas we're well and truly competitive against the top three sides.”
