Providing tasty egg and bacon rolls alongside coffee, juices and tea, council took the opportunity to thank all the volunteers who make the community run smoothly on a regular basis.

There are many volunteer groups and organisations in Dimboola including the Dimboola CWA ladies and Lions Club who both contribute to the community in many ways, and the Dimboola Progress Association who host community events and work to maintain gardens, improve services and more.

Many also volunteer their time to help organise and host the Wimmera Steampunk Festival, Dimboola Barefoot Ski Tournaments and Dimboola Regattas.

Although there are many other groups and organisations to name, council expressed their thanks to all who help make Dimboola a better place to live.
