Burras, Gawith victorious in club's milestone match against Dimboola
Past and present players celebrating Minyip Murtoa’s 30th anniversary had extra reason to celebrate on Saturday, with the Burras recording a 41-point win in the footy.

But it wasn't all the Burras way, with their opposition, Dimboola, getting the jump on them and controlling the play early on in the match.
For coach Gareth Hose, it was pleasing how his team worked themselves back into the game, and by quarter time, the Burras had the lead by five points.
They grew the lead each quarter, eventually winning 17.9 (111) to 10.10 (70).
"We had an even spread of contributors, the defensive pressure we applied was good and our mids were getting their hands on the footy in the contest," Hose said.
"Our back six were solid all day and we were able to wrestle back control when Dimmy got on top at stages."
Among the best for the Burras were Timothy Mackenzie and Ben McIntyre, who played across half-back and the ruck, and half-back respectively, while Oscar Gawith booted six goals for the Burras.
There's a bit to reflect on for the coach from the game, with how his side started the match, as well as their skills under pressure and entries into the forward all needing a bit of work.
But all in all, a win is a win and Hose said it was good to get the win infront of a big crowd in what was a fantastic day for the club.
"So it was great to play some good footy and get the win for all the supporters," Hose said.
In their defeat, Dylan Landt and Simon Hobbs were best on ground for Dimboola.
