Classic cars and bikes of old and new, original and restored, gathered for a morning of ‘coffee and cars’ on Sunday, August 2.
The car park on Dixon Drive was bustling with motor enthusiasts, with about 80 cars in attendance.
All proceeds donated at the event go to Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids (WACK).
“It was pretty well attended; we had a lot of different car clubs from the area come along,” WACK trustee and organiser of Sunday’s event Simon Clark said.
Mr Clark said he was “genuinely humbled” by one family that made “an amazing donation” of a few thousand dollars “that will go a long way to helping the few of the families that we’re helping at the moment.”
“(Coffee and cars) seems to be a good way to get a bit of social interaction and a bit of social connection in with all our gearheads around the town,” he said.
“It's definitely a good thing to do for the community.”
The next WACK event will be the Father's Day Car and Bike Show held at the rear carpark of the Horsham Plaza on Sunday, September 6.
