Caravan park's laundry upgraded
Hindmarsh Shire Council's Dimboola Riverside Caravan Park has upgraded its laundry to keep up with the demand of patrons using the service.
Having been relocated from the previous site into an existing larger building that had been used for storage, the laundry now features additional washers, dryers and storage in a larger work area where linen for cabins can be turned over faster.
"The previous space was very small, being a small brick building that did not have room to install the required additional washers/dryers or have power capacity to meet the requirements of Hindmarsh Holiday Parks," a spokesperson said.
New flooring and a new air-conditioning unit have been installed, along with a custom folding table and a kitchen for staff.
Masterplans for all Hindmarsh Holiday Parks are being developed to guide future improvements.
