Carnage at Horsham City Oval

There was carnage on day one of a two-day match between West Wimmera Warriors and Noradjuha Toolondo Bullants, with 24 wickets falling in an unbelievable day of cricket at the Horsham City Oval in round seven of the Horsham Cricket Association.

After winning the toss and bowling, the Bullants bowled West Wimmera out for 92 in the 33rd over, with Matt Combe leading the way with the ball, with figures of 3/27 (14). Brad Alexander top-scored for the Warriors with 32.

The Warriors then bowled the Bullants out for 60 after 29 overs, with Nathan Alexander taking 5/21 (10). Jordan McDonald top-scored for the Bullants with 14.

At stumps, the Warriors are 4/21 (10) following blistering spells from Jordan McDonald and Matt Combe. McDonald sits on 2/8 (5) and Combe 2/13 (5).

Leading by 53 runs, the Warriors will look to put on the runs and put themselves in a position to win outright with Nathan Alexander still at the crease alongside Brodie Cramer. Alexander is unbeaten on six, and Cramer has yet to score.

Laharum is in the box seat against the Horsham Tigers in round seven of the Horsham Cricket Association's A-grade competition, thanks to a century from Ben Peucker.

After losing the toss and batting, the Demons lost Brodie Foster and Sean Wouters early, and Peucker led the charge in an exemplary partnership with Joel Pymer.

Peucker hit 127 off 130 balls in an innings that featured 24 fours, while Pymer hit 36. Laharum was bowled out for 236 in the 43rd over. Tyler Puls was the pick of the Tigers' bowlers, with 4/56 (13.4).

At stumps, the Demons have the Tigers 4/70, with Angus Adams and Aaron Leith unbeaten on 24 and four, respectively. Josh Mahoney is leading the way with the ball for the Demons, sitting on figures of 3/12 (12).

At Coughlin Park, the Horsham Saints finally reached triple figures for the first time this season, finishing at 5/106. Dezi Carter returned to the lineup and was the star with the bat, scoring 42, with Gary Davidson unbeaten on 22. Logan Millar was the pick of the Colts' bowlers with 1/13 (11).

BrimKSH has already secured a point at Brim Recreation Reserve, finishing at 5/122 after bowling the Homers out for 90.

Charlie Dean, 4/37 (12.5), and Lachlan McGinniss, 3/27 (14), were the stars for the Eagles with the ball as they bowled the Homers out in the 40th over. Adam Atwood top-scored for the Homers with 27.

Leigh Dovaston top-scored for the Eagles with 34, opening the batting, with Isaac McPherson hitting 30. Chris McPherson and Connor McGinniss are unbeaten on 11 and eight, respectively, and will look to extend the lead next Saturday in a bid to win outright.

Baxter Perry has figures of 3/39 (13) for the Homers.
