The weather proved to be just as challenging as the events themselves, with athletes experiencing all four seasons in a day - patches of sunshine, a cold wind sweeping across the track, and even a few spots of rain.

Despite the conditions, students showed determination and school spirit as they competed in a wide range of track and field events, including sprints, relays, high jump, long jump, shot put and discus.

Supporters and teammates cheered loudly from the sidelines, encouraging participants to do their best and finish strong.

The day was not only about competition but also about building friendships and celebrating the effort of all students.

The sense of teamwork and encouragement was evident across both schools.

St Joseph’s and Hopetoun P-12 students represented their schools with pride, showing great sportsmanship throughout the day.
