Celebrating Mother’s Day

The St Joseph’s School community came together to celebrate Mother’s Day with a beautiful and heartfelt liturgy honouring the special women in students’ lives.

During the Liturgy, students shared touching words they had written about their mums, expressing their love, gratitude and appreciation for all that mothers do each day.

As part of the celebration, candles were lit and presented to mums as a symbol of the courage, love and joy they bring to the relationship with their children.

It was a meaningful moment that reflected the warmth and care shown by mothers, grandmothers and special carers within our community.

Following the liturgy, mothers gathered for a lovely morning tea, providing an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and spend time together.

It was a very special time to recognise and thank the mums and mother-like figures in our school community.
