'It has been an absolute privilege': Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly CEO departs
The Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly board of management announces the departure of executive officer Tony Caccaviello, following a period of significant achievement and growth.

During his tenure, Mr Caccaviello made a lasting impact on sport and active recreation in the Wimmera region, positioning the organisation well for its future.
WRSA chair Jeff Pekin paid tribute to the outgoing CEO’s leadership.
"Tony has been an exceptional leader who has brought energy, vision and genuine commitment to the Wimmera community.
“His contribution to the WRSA and to sport and active recreation across our region has been significant - from leading the development of our Strategic Plan 2025–2028 and growing WRSA membership to more than 80 members, to delivering the Sports Star of the Year 40th Anniversary Celebration and recommitting the organisation to the CoRE Alliance.”
The WRSA chair said Mr Caccaviello’s legacy was leaving behind a stronger, more connected and more inclusive organisation.
"It has been an absolute privilege to serve the Wimmera community in this role,” Mr Caccaviello said.
“I am proud to have led a community-driven organisation and to have played a part in building it into one that is genuinely positioned to shape and contribute to the future of sport and active recreation across the Wimmera region.
