CFA ready to collect Good Friday Appeal funds
Warracknabeal's Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal collection will look a little different this year with a modified program due to permits and safety reasons.

As passed down from Victoria Police, previous collection points on Scott Street and Kelsall Street will not go ahead this year as it doesn't have traffic lights for safety.
Warracknabeal CFA captain Cam Whelan said local council and police officers have tried to help but the order comes from higher up.
"I get why they've done it but it's disappointing to see," he said.
The Werrigar Roadhouse located on Henty Highway will be a collection point all day alongside the CFA station on Jamouneau Street which will be open for donations from 11am.
The popular town collection in Warracknabeal will commence at 1pm while Brim's town collection is from 11am.
Captain Whelan said they will be mindful of the cemetery tour with their truck sirens.
"Thank you in advance to all that donate," he said.
"Some people save up for 12 months and donate it to the Good Friday Appeal and it's such a special moment.
"The ability and kindness of donating is just special, no matter the amount."
Last year the Warracknabeal community raised $29,993 for the Good Friday Appeal.
