Charges following Kewell fatal

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman in connection with a fatal collision in Kewell last year.

Investigators alleged that a car travelling on Henty Highway lost control and rolled just after 7am on May 31, 2025.

A 32-year-old man from Warracknabeal, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene.

On April 22, 2026, the driver, a 39-year-old Sea Lake woman, was charged with culpable driving causing death.

She was bailed to appear at Horsham Magistrates’ Court on May 4.
