Christmas is coming
With the year travelling fast, Year 12 students having finished their year’s face to face learning and preparing for exams, thoughts turn to Christmas.
And the combined churches of Hopetoun are once again, with the support of the community, hosting Community Carols by Lake Lascelles.
Planning started some time ago.
As part of the Organising Group, Allan Fenech, says, “We are very grateful and excited to have the Warracknabeal District Band coming once again to lead the singing.”
Support from the Lake Committee, Men’s Shed, St Jospeh’s School and more, help make the night what it is.
Free sausages will be available again and drinks for sale.
“We hope the community will put the date in their diary and we will see everybody at the Lake on Sunday, December 7, from 5.30pm on for the sausage sizzle and for the Carols to commence at 7 o’clock,” says Mr Fenech.
