The Hindmarsh Shire Libraries Nhill branch was filled with baking enthusiasts and all-round food lovers on Thursday, February 20.

Those gathered in the Wimmera's West were there to meet baker and author Cindy Bunt, and listen to her stories.

Ms Bunt is the owner of The Post and Rail, a cooking, gardening, art school and nursery in South Australia that she started in 2019.

She loves being able to share her passion and knowledge, as well as her time-saving tips, shortcuts and techniques.

Many knowing giggles were shared by all who gathered for this event.

With the assistance of a willing participant, Ms Bunt demonstrated her fool-proof technique for making and cutting scones, a recipe sure to be tried with that new-learned knowledge at hand.

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries shared its gratitude to have authors like Ms Bunt travel to its library service to share their expertise, profession and passion with our community.
