In what will likely be the match of the round on Saturday, it will be first versus second when the Horsham Saints and Southern Mallee Thunder meet at Hopetoun Recreation Reserve.

While the Saints haven't dropped a game this season, the Thunder have lost just one and that was to Ararat last Saturday.

While the Thunder will be looking to get back on the list of winners on Saturday, the Saints will be keen to keep their clean record.

The Horsham Saints side will be looking again to convert plenty of goal opportunities from Jorja Clode, who is currently leading the league in goal scoring.

Clode has made 209 goals this season from 255 shots taken.

But the Thunder also have a goal shooting weapon in their line-up with Steph Thomson also high in the league goal scoring, having converted 118 of 169 shots taken this season.

Saints have been led well this season by Abby Hallam and Megan Byrne and will be hoping for further big contributions from them this week in their positions of goal attack and centre/wing attack, respectively.

For the Thunder, Emma Mill, predominantly the side's goal shooter, and Sydney Thorogood, who mostly plays goal keeper, have been in brilliant form this season.

Other games this week include the Eagles versus Nhill at Anzac Park, the Demons are on the road to play Stawell at Central Park, and Ararat will come up against Minyip Murtoa at Murtoa Recreation Reserve.
