Clinic to serve up fun
Don’t forget school holidays are coming up and the Hindmarsh Shire is running a Junior Badminton Clinic in the first week.
On Wednesday July 1, the Junior Badminton Clinic will be held at the Rainbow Mecca, with the primary-school age from 10am to 11.30am, then the secondary-school age from 12pm to 1.30pm.
It doesn’t cost anything to play, we will have racquets for you to use, plus I will have soft drinks, water, chocolates and chips to sell.
There will not be the usual Junior Badminton over the school holidays.
This week, we had 21 Junior Badminton players playing, so all the doubles sets only went to 15 points and the singles to 11 points.
We need more help from the parents of our juniors when we have a large number of players to try and keep them controlled.
I have my hands full making up the sets for them to play, and selling them something for them to eat or drink.
