Community honours Anzacs
Dawn service attendees had a fleeting taste of what those who served in World War I endured as the rain came down during the annual Anzac Day service on Friday.

Horsham RSL president Gareth Lane said considering the weather, there was a good turnout at both the dawn service and the later commemorative service.
"A lot of us were concerned about the rain but it all still went really well," Mr Lane said.
Once again, the main street was lined with people as the Anzac Day march from Horsham RSL in McLachlan Street to Sawyer Park took place from 10am.
Mr Lane said due to older members not participating in the march anymore, this year's parade was slightly smaller.
Horsham school captains from St Brigid's College, Horsham College, Holy Trinity Lutheran College and Horsham Special School participated in the commemorative service alongside Chloe Findlay who sang both the New Zealand and Australian national anthems for attendees.
After the commemorative service, attendees dispersed to the RSL club, where the festivities kicked off.
Live-streamed to Facebook, many participated in two-up and crown-and-anchor.
Mr Lane expressed his thanks to all RSL members and volunteers and to the members of the public who participated or simply attended.
"Now we look to start planning next year's event," he said.
