Community thanks Little Desert bushfire team
Dimboola Soundshell and Recreation Reserve will be ‘the place to be’ on Saturday March 29 to recognise and thank all emergency services, volunteers and staff for their efforts during the Little Desert bushfire.

Starting at 6pm, there will be live music performances from Dog and Bass and Head Rush from 7.30pm.
It will be bring your own chairs and blankets.
The Dimboola Lions Club will be cooking up a storm on the barbecue and other options will be available from various food vendors.
There will be a range of activities set up for the entire family, including art displays from local school students and firefighting equipment displays from local CFA brigades.
Toby’s Sky Tours will be there with powerful telescopes to view the stars, and Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council will have giant games for kids, free popcorn and face painting.
An auction will also be held with all proceeds to be distributed to CFA brigades.
Items up for auction will include a helicopter joy flight over the Little Desert and a $200 meal and drink voucher for the Victoria Hotel Dimboola.
This community event is free but there will be collection tins available should attendees wish to donate in support of the CFA.
Due to the anticipated crowd numbers, the road within Dimboola Recreation Reserve will be closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the Soundshell.
People requiring all-abilities parking should contact their local Hindmarsh Shire Council Library & Customer Service Centre to book a parking space.
