Contributions wanted for art exhibition
Contributions are being sought for an exhibition opening next week with a focus on the mental side of health.
The exhibition is titled: "Growing from the Past into the Future", with encouragement for artists to consider their journey.
The exhibition takes an all-encompassing approach to health mentally; considering cultural diversity, care practices and coping strategies, along with resilience, to help foster positive mental wellness and a sense of belonging by honouring these strengths.
All expressions are welcome, including but not limited to literature, painting, performance, photography, quilts and sculpture.
The exhibition will be on show from Tuesday, October 7 to Friday, October 31 and artwork must be submitted by 5pm Friday, October 3.
