Council recruiting community reps
Hindmarsh Shire Council is calling for community members to apply to join its Council Plan 2025-2029 Community Panel.
The community panel will deliberative, meaning that members will learn about things that matter to them, ask questions of staff and councillors, and debate opportunities for the council plan.
Members will need to work together to share ideas and make recommendations to council on what should be included in the council plan.
The panel will include about 20 people who reflect the demographics of the diverse community.
All Hindmarsh Shire residents 16 years or older are invited to apply.
To ensure a diverse representation of people from all walks of life, council will select members who represent the community across age, gender, cultural background and location.
