Demons defeat Dimboola in a thriller
As expected, the clash between the Demons and Dimboola in round five of the Wimmera Football Netball League A grade competition was a close one, with the home side, Horsham, claiming the win 61 to 58.

The sides now sit in fourth and third, respectively.
Both sides remained with relatively the same line-up for the entire match, with only a few substitutions being made here and there.
Ebonie Salter, in goal keeper, and Imogen Worthy, in goal shooter, were best on court for the Demons, while goal shooter Nicole Polycarpou and goal attack Olivia Beugelaar were among the best the Dimboola, shooting 32 and 26 goals, respectively.
Georgia Batson, for Horsham, contributed 28 goals to the score for her team, Worthy shot 31, and Zarli Knight, who took the court intermittently in goal attack, goal shooter and wing attack, shot a couple of goals.
In other matches, Horsham Saints 68 defeated Warrack 27, with best on court for the Saints Abby Hallam and Maddison Bethune while Ashlynn McKenzie and Isabella Orszulak were the better players in the losing side.
Nhill got the points against Stawell 53 to 44, with Brooklyn Fraser and Emma Beer (both Nhill) and Alana Graveson and Sophie Dyer (both Stawell) the better players for their sides.
And in the final match-up, Ararat 51 claimed the win over the Thunder 42, with no best players recorded at the time of going to press.
