Digging potatoes the old-fashioned way
Members of the Agricultural Machinery Museum will be digging up potatoes this Saturday that were planted in September last year.
The American-made 1910 Champion Potato Digger.
They will be using an American-made 1910 Champion Potato Digger.
Digging will commence at 10.30am when visitors will see the machine lift mature potatoes from the ground, ready to be picked up.
Digging will continue until completed.
Part of the crop will be for sale.
