Dimboola is in third after the latest round of Wimmera Football Netball League A Grade netball.

They played Warrack at Anzac Park last Saturday, bagging the win 58 to 31.

Dimboola got off to a brilliant start, up by 13 at the end of the first quarter, and headed into half time with an advantage of 10 goals.

They then outscored their opposition seven to 16 in quarter three, before another dominant quarter saw Dimboola claim the victory by 27.

Ashlynn McKenzie, who played in Centre and Wing Attack, was in form for the Eagles, despite them losing, along with Centre/Wing Defence Leiah McKenzie.

Bridget Dorrington, who stuck on many bibs during the game, including Goal Keeper, Goal Defence and Wing Defence, was named best on court for the victors, along with centre Rianna Kuhne.

This Saturday Dimboola will face fourth-placed Thunder.

The Thunder are sitting at four wins and three losses currently, off the back of a 16 goal loss to Horsham last Saturday.
