Dimboola look to claim their fifth win

Dimboola will be looking to claim their fifth win for the season when they play Southern Mallee Thunder this Saturday in the Wimmera Football Netball League.

Currently in third, with a loss record of three, Dimboola are carrying some momentum after accounting for the Eagles last week by 14 points.

The Thunder, on the other hand, got their side back on the list of winners last Saturday, with a one-point win against Horsham side, the Demons.

But coach of Dimboola, Dean Toet, said just because the opposition this week are currently seventh on the ladder doesn't mean his side will be taking the game lightly.

"They are a lot like us in they have blokes that come in some weeks, and out other weeks," he admitted.

"But it's close at the minute (the league), everyone's close, and you just need to keep a lid on it.

"You can't look at the ladder through and get excited because sometimes you are only in the five for a sleepover, and next minute you are second bottom.

"It's so different this year, the competition, you think a team is up and about, they've won a couple of games, and then they get rolled by a side you didn't expect.

"You only have to look at the Thunder last week, Thunder were down by 20-something points at three-quarter time and only just got up by a point."
