Dimboola to face ladder leaders

Dimboola will be looking for their first win of the season this Saturday in the Wimmera Football Netball League, but it'll be a big request as they line up against an in-form Ararat side.

Dimboola were defeated in the first match of the season against Minyip Murtoa by more than 40 points, while on the contrary, Ararat have banked a couple of dominant wins, defeating the Demons by 148 points and, on Good Friday, Stawell by 96 points.

Jack Landt, Jackson Calder and Jayden Kuhne will need to lead the way in the forward line for Dimboola, like they did in round 1, if they are going to be competitive.

The home side will also need to contain not one but possibly three dangerous forward-line players for Ararat, including Tom Williamson, who in just a couple of games has booted 15 goals already this season, along with Jack Ganley and Tom Mills, each of whom has kicked nine goals so far.

Dylan Landt, Simon Hobbs and Andrew Moore will also need to be on their game in order to challenge last season's premiers.
