Dining out going to the dogs
Wednesday, August 26, is International Dog Day, which celebrates all breeds, mixed and pure, and honours the many loyal dogs that serve as wonderful companions and work selflessly to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort.
Dogs are becoming part of the dining experience, with new data showing a 20 per cent rise in visits to pet-friendly restaurants across Australia. Harrow Hermitage Hotel licensee Suzanne Waugh, pictured with Bear-girl, says pet-friendly outdoor dining is a natural fit for the town’s many campers and visitors.
