Dustin Eckermann received Blueribbon

The round 3 winner of the Spirit of Football Award for the Wimmera Football Netball League is Southern Mallee Thunder under-17 footballer Dustin Eckermann.

Dustin received his award from Rainbow police officer Leading Senior Constable Tony Clark at Jeparit football oval on Saturday.

Thunder's under 17s joint-captain, Dusty is a worthy recipient of this award in recognition of his outstanding sportsmanship and leadership.

He is praised as a determined and committed player who leads by example both on and off the field.

He is highly respected for his strong work ethic at training and in matches, his willingness to seek feedback to improve his game, and his positive influence on those around him.
