Eagles bank fifth win
The Eagles got their fifth win for the season on Saturday, with a 63-point victory over the Roos.

Warrack kept their score ticking over during the course of the game, while it was only in the fourth quarter that Dimboola were able to find the big sticks.
The Eagles led by 17 points at the end of the first quarter, 22 points at the big break and 43 points heading into the final term, before the 10.14 74 to 1.5 11 win.
For Warrack, it was their first win since June 20, when they defeated Minyip Murtoa, and it pleased coach Kyle George greatly, despite the game being played in challenging conditions.
"The ball was heavy and slow," George said after the match.
"It was hard to move through the contest today.
"It was that congested."
The Eagles had only booted three goals by half time, but it didn't cause concern in the group, with George adding they were just hoping to keep extending their lead after the big break.
"If we could get first use of the footy, run with it in the weather, then they would get sick of chasing us," George said.
A seven-goal final half was a boost in percentage for Warrack, with the effort being led by Sam Hanna, who found the big sticks three times.
"Good footballers get going when it's wet," George explained.
"Connor McFayden was unreal today, and Hanna was especially up forward.
"So were Ben Hanna, Samuel Callins and Billy Stokes also in the middle.
"We're very happy with our contested ball today.
"We didn’t win a lot of the taps, but we were able to win it from the ground."
According to PlayHQ, best on ground for the Eagles included McFadyen and Sam Hanna, while for the Roos, it was Mitchell O’Donnell and Simon Hobbs who led the way.
Highest goal scorers for the day included John Jorgensen, Nicholas Lehman and Sam Hanna for Warrack, all with a couple of majors.
In Round 13 of action for the Wimmera Football Netball League, Ararat host Warrack at Alexandra Oval.
Four spots separate the sides - or three wins - with Ararat in second and Warrack in sixth.
George said it will be a good test for the side, but they would need to be at their best.
"Our best is very, very good when we're flying, but our worst is horrible, and all we really want to do is close that gap," the coach summarised.
