While it will be the Eagles' first time on court this season, the Thunder will be looking to secure their second win for 2025.

Southern Mallee got the points over Stawell in the opening round of the season, winning by nine with attacking player Emma Mill and centre Rylee Cocks leading the way.

Their efforts, combined with those of Steph Thomson, who contributed 35 goals across the four quarters, got them over the line.

Although the Eagles haven't been on court as of yet this season, they will be hoping for good performances on Saturday from defenders Charlie Inkster and Jordan Heller, along with accuracy in the ring from goalies Amber O'Connor and Sarah Marchment.
