Easy access to Services Australia services
Residents of Wimmera Mallee will soon have easy access to vital government services when Services Australia’s Mobile Service Centre, Blue Gum, visits the towns in the next two weeks.

The mobile service centre is a 20-tonne truck designed to provide face-to-face support for regional and rural Australians.
The truck will be located in front of the Men’s Shed in Wycheproof on Thursday, January 30 from 9 am to 4 pm and near the St Arnaud Town Hall on Napier Street on Monday, 3 February, from 10 am to 4 pm, and again on Tuesday, 4 February, from 9 am to 4 pm.
It will offer services from Centrelink, Medicare, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Staff on board can assist with lodging Centrelink claims, registering for Medicare, and helping people access and navigate online services.
The visit aims to make these essential services more accessible to those living in remote areas.
Local residents are encouraged to visit the mobile centre during its stay in the region to receive support and resolve any issues they may have.
