Edenhope Apsley coach Lavinia Fox praised her team’s consistency and composure.

Edenhope led by nine goals at halftime.
“We really set ourselves up for a good second half through the effort we put in the first half,” Fox said.
The final quarter proved tense as Quantong surged, but Edenhope’s defensive unit stood firm.
According to Fox, the key to that defence was Olivia Spence, who impressed as the goalkeeper.
“She was fantastic at reading the ball and got some beautiful intercepts,” she said.
“Defensively, we played a really clean brand of netball.”
Youngster Jasmine McIntyre also stepped up in wing defence, earning high praise from the coach for her composure and crucial plays in the final quarter.
“She’s not a senior player, but really stood up as an A Grade player yesterday.”
Fox scored 23 goals and described the game as a proud moment.
“I was definitely happy to be able to get a few goals for the team,” she said,
She added that the team’s depth and teamwork were crucial in holding off their determined opponents.
Looking ahead, Fox acknowledged next week’s challenge against Rupanyup, a premiership contender.
“Our goal at the moment is to make finals – we’ll just keep working towards that,” she said.
