Exhibition opening night a success
Locals and out-of-towners gathered for a taste of something different on Friday February 14 at the recent Sticky Fingers Art Exhibition hosted at the Shire Hall.

Created by Cambodian artist Julien Poulson, he said he woke up the next morning feeling "elated with it all".
"We were chuffed with the attendance and it was great to have such a nice turn out of local townsfolk and even people travelling up from Adelaide and Melbourne supporting us," he said.
With the aim of creating a feature film in Dimboola, Mr Poulson said the opening night of the exhibition allowed him to speak to locals about it.
"It was nice to be able to share the what? when? how? why? plans for movie collaboration in person," he said.
The event is also a chance for him to sell pieces to raise funds for the project.
"Fundraising greases the wheels and keeps us inspired to work towards bringing together a real budget but I don't think I can do it all through sales of prints and paintings - unless it's that missing Nolan," Mr Poulson said.
The Sticky Fingers Art Exhibition will be running for two weeks at the Shire Hall on Lloyd Street, with Mr Poulson looking forward to returning to the town in a month.
"A highlight was meeting local Cambodian girl Sokhan who is fast becoming the face of Wimmera Steampunk," he said.
"I just want to thank everyone for the great turn out, not least the Imaginarium who put it all together."
