Fantasy, combat and storytelling unite
Longswords, battleaxes and shields took over Sawyer Park as the Wimmera LARP Group brought medieval combat and fantasy storytelling to life.
LARP, or live action role play, combines medieval combat, role play, training, and storytelling, giving participants the chance to step into a fantasy world while learning new skills in a safe and fun environment.
The Wimmera LARP Group welcomes anyone interested in learning more, whether you are drawn to combat, character development, storytelling, or are curious about the intersection of history and fantasy.
The group will reach a wider audience at the Horsham Show in September.
During the event, members will offer demonstrations, lead workshops, and host meet-and-greet sessions, allowing attendees to experience live action role-play firsthand.
