And fans from far and wide are expected to travel to Horsham on February 14 next year to witness the Freestyle Kings in action.

Yes, it's Valentine's Day, but Freestyle Kings FMX Superstar Lance Russell says not to let that deter you.

He said if you can't find a babysitter for the children, the good news is the entire family can attend a Freestyle Kings show, and if you are looking for the perfect gift for your Valentine you don't need to look any further than a Freestyle Kings ticket.

"If there is a family and the parents can't escape the kids, this is enjoyable for the dads, the mums, the kids, so they can actually have a nice night together and leave the dining and wining until after," Russell suggested.

"And if a girl is attempting to impress a guy, she should definitely get tickets, because he'll be like 'Oh my gosh, you've read my mind' and she is going to enjoy it as much as he will."

With something to please everyone, the show has crowd interactions, pyrotechnics and music, along with the opportunity to meet your favourite Freestyle King before the show.

In other words, the event will be jam-packed, featuring the best riders in the world doing the world's best and latest stunts.

"All of our riders are former gold medallists at X Games, world champions and world-record holders," Russell said.

"They are the greatest and latest and there are even kids riding, like Robbie Maddison's sons, Jagger and Kruz, who are nine and 11.

"They are performing beyond their years, the tricks they are doing – they are the only children in the world doing them.

"Kruz is doing a superman backflip on an 85CC bike, which isn't heard of," Russell said.

Jagger and Kruz will be joined by the likes of current world champion Rob Adelberg, fresh from winning gold at this year's X Games.

And of course, they'll be performing alongside their dad, Robbie.

"A world-record holder, the James Bond stunt double, a full household name – he has so many records to his name and it's an honour to have him on tour," Russell said of Robbie Maddison.

"We also have Clinton Moore, he's world champion as well and he has just landed a world-first stunt on the weekend in preparation for the tour.

"Pat Bowden is another world champion and one of the most naturally gifted riders on the planet and he's built this nickname 'The White Knight'.

"We also have Ellie Chew, she's been practising months and months leading up to this so she has got all these double back flips and tricks, showing up the boys big-time."

Also joining them is Callum Shaw, New Zealand's number one rider, for whom Russell said they had to make some adaptations to their gear.

"Callum's skills speak for themself and he is going to go out there and blow everyone's mind," Russell said.

"We actually have an extension on the ramp now, adding an extra 1.5m higher, and Callum and the guys go out and get so high.

"We call him the Tour King because he's on another entire level."

Russell said there was one particular trick that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

"There's this one by Rob Adelberg and he is the only guy to do it," Russell said.

"He'll go up the ramp and just lock his brakes up at the top of the jump, and then he'll do a full front flip.

"This is what scored him the gold medal.

"And when he does the front flip, he not only holds his brakes on and throws the bike into a front flip but he does this crazy trick where it's like a heel-kicker, really.

"This front flip trick, no one else in the world does it; he is just so far ahead of the game."

Russell said while the scenes were scripted, the riding wasn't.

"It's pretty much a contest every show," he said.

"All the riders are trying hard to ride the best they can and it's common that every tour a rider throws a brand-new, first-time trick."

Agreeing it took a bit of crazy to be a part of Freestyle Kings, Russell said it also took a lifetime of dedication.

"I've been riding since I was three and I remember sitting there in primary school thinking 'I'm going to be a freestyle motocross rider when I am older; I am going to be professional and travel the world'.

"And now I do that, and that was purely from sacrificing everything, friendships.

"I wasn't social because everyone was hanging out, going to parties, but I just practised.

"In terms of your fitness and health, the dedication, you have to be like an Olympic athlete.

"The guys push themselves through the craziest injuries.

"Everyone who does this has this blocker of fear where they flick the switch and the fear is gone; nothing will stop them."

And speaking of a bit of crazy and a dose of blocking fear, Russell mentioned a new trick he had been perfecting alongside a prodigy and said the audience at the Horsham show would be able to witness it live.

"We've just come up with this crazy stunt for the tour," Russell said of a trick where he is joined on the same bike by a rider by the name of Riley Davis.

"We've had some major failures but we think we are making it work.

"It's been an extremely steep learning curve but we are getting there."

Russell has one message for the crowd before the Horsham show, and that's that the riders feed off the audience's energy so they should bring the noise.

"It's the biggest sense of adrenaline and the biggest sense of achievement," Russell said of performing stunts and tricks in front of Freestyle Kings fans.

"You build off what the crowd is doing as well so when the crowd is cheering for you they share that energy with you.

"That atmosphere is one you can't match anywhere else."

The Horsham show will be held Saturday February 14 2026 from 6pm to 8pm at City Oval.

Tickets begin at $39.80 and can be purchased by visiting https://www.freestylekings.com/freestyle-kings-live-horsham-2026/
