Female farmers celebrated at Horsham showcase
HORSHAM will host a celebration of women in regional communities and agriculture this week as part of the Year of the Female Farmer Regional Showcase Series.

This celebratory showcase will be held at the Horsham Golf Club on Thursday, September 3, bringing female farmers, business owners, industry leaders, innovators, and community representatives together for a day focused on leadership, opportunity, and connection.
The event has been organised by SheFarmer and Ashleigh Knight as part of a wider 2026 program highlighting the contribution women make to rural communities and the agriculture industry.
SheFarmer founder Rachel Titley, a fourth-generation farmer and leadership and wellbeing consultant, designed the showcase series to shine a light on the achievements of rural and regional women and provide opportunities to share ideas and build networks.
Throughout this year, the Year of the Female Farmer Showcase Series will visit communities across South Australia and Victoria, constructing spaces for women to connect, explore new opportunities and share their lived experiences.
Organisers said the showcase would provide valuable information and practical learning while encouraging attendees to tackle challenges and build confidence.
The event is open to women in agriculture, rural and regional business owners, changemakers, emerging professionals, industry representatives, or anyone simply passionate about strengthening innovation and leadership.
Tickets cost $49 and include light refreshments and lunch, allowing attendees to experience a full day of learning, inspiration, and connection.
Organisers also encourage attendees to bring along friends and colleagues and take the opportunity to connect with women right across the regional and agricultural sectors.
Furthermore, the showcase will acknowledge the important and necessary role women play in agriculture and celebrate those helping shape the future of rural and regional communities.
