The event, which was both fun and fundraising, aimed to support the local playgroup and raised valuable funds to benefit children and families in the area.

The playgroup, which meets every second Monday at the Rainbow Kindergarten during school terms at 9:30 a.m., offers a welcoming space for parents and young children to socialize, engage in hands-on activities, and enjoy creative play. With only a small fee of $2 per family, the group provides an important opportunity for families to connect and support one another.

Mariah Heinrich, one of the event organizers, expressed her gratitude to Marg Krelle for her dedication and expertise in leading the wreath-making workshop.

"Marg’s time and effort made the evening a wonderful success," she said.

A special thanks was also extended to Cassy Gibbs for her generous donation of prizes and for organizing the event.

The night was filled with laughter and friendly competition as each participant crafted their own unique wreath design, showcasing their creativity.

"It was so much fun to see everyone's different designs and to spend time together," said Mariah.

"We all left with a beautiful wreath to hang at home, but more importantly, we were able to raise money for the playgroup, which benefits our children and our community."

The evening was a great success, and the organizers are already looking forward to holding another wreath-making event next year.
