Free community night brings community together
It's time for farmers, families, and the wider community to take a well-earned break and enjoy a night out together.
The community is invited to the Farmer's Night Off at the Hopetoun Recreation Reserve on Friday, September 12, from 5pm.
This free community event, proudly supported by Agriculture Victoria's Drought Support Package, promises a relaxed and enjoyable evening with something for all ages.
Special guest Warren Davies, author of 'The Unbreakable Farmer', will share his inspirational story of resilience.
Experts will be on hand with practical grant advice, farm business tips, and wellbeing support.
There will be plenty of chances to catch up with friends and neighbours over finger food and bar refreshments, while connecting with support services including Rural Northwest Health Service, the Rural Financial Counselling Service, and Dundee Swanwater Consulting.
The night is designed to be family-friendly and welcoming for all ages, giving everyone a chance to take a break, enjoy good company and strengthen community connections.
"This event is about giving people a chance to step away from the day-to-day pressures of farming, hear from someone who understands the challenges, and leave with both practical tools and renewed energy," said organiser Richard Bales of Dundee Swanwater Consulting.
Tickets are free, but registration is essential for catering. Please register by Wednesday, September 10, at trybooking.com/DEORY.
