Fun and learning on the Foundation - Grade 2 excursion to Mildura
Foundation, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students from St Joseph’s School had an exciting day out on their recent excursion to Mildura.
The Hopetoun & District Neighbourhood House (HDNH) goes from strength to strength.
Their first stop was Benetook Farm, where they picked fresh strawberries, fed the chickens, collected eggs, and even enjoyed a round of mini golf.
The hands-on activities gave students a wonderful chance to learn about farming, animals, and where our food comes from.
After lunch, the adventure continued at Woodsies Gem Shop, where students explored the sparkling treasures of Aladdin’s Cave and were fascinated by the dazzling display of gems and minerals from around the world.
They had lots of fun finding their way through the tricky maze. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, learning and new experiences.
